Sam Osunsoko

MANAGING PARTNER, COGNITIO NIGERIA

Sam Osunsoko has always had a knack for creative problem solving.

He spent his career formative years navigating and crafting solutions for Indomie and Samsung – both of which have today become power brands in their respective categories. Over the years, he has built a robust career around empowering brands for marketplace success across diverse categories. Sam is a strong believer in the power of creativity to drive business results.

Prior to founding Cognitio, Sam was the pioneer Managing Director of Leo Burnett Lagos. Under his leadership and with less than 2 years of operations, the Agency was recognized at the 2016 Lagos Advertising and Ideas Festival awards as the 4th most-creative in Nigeria. In his capacity as the head of business at one of the foremost creative agencies – Insight Communications, Sam led several brand and business transformation initiatives across Heineken, Pepsi, Nokia, Nestle Milo, MTN, P&G and Emirates Airlines to mention just a few. His work on Nokia resulted in a new Guinness World Record being set in 2006.

Sam is an alumnus of Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, USA.
